DALLAS (Oct. 12, 2017) — More people in the Dallas metroplex are accessing high-quality care at lower cost through Catalyst Health Network (Catalyst) and UnitedHealthcare’s accountable care organization (ACO).

The accountable care relationship was established in 2015 for people enrolled in UnitedHealthcare employer-sponsored and individual health plans, and has grown to include more than 450 primary care providers across North Texas.

Clinically Integrated Network Empowers Physicians and Patients
to Improve North Texans’ Health and Well-Being

Plano, Texas (Oct. 10, 2017)—Catalyst Health Network, one of the largest clinically integrated networks in the nation, has added USMD Health System to its expanding accountable care organization (ACO) network in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. The addition of USMD to Catalyst Health Network will significantly increase the size of the network, bringing together 465 primary care providers (PCPs) in more than 140 locations that serve more than 750,000 patients across North Texas.

Catalyst and Methodist Patient-Centered ACO Partner to Better Serve Area Patients

Dallas, TX – Catalyst Health Network and the Methodist Patient-Centered ACO (MPCACO) today announced the completion of a new collaboration agreement between the two organizations, as MPCACO joins Catalyst’s fast-growing list of affiliated healthcare organizations. MPCACO is affiliated with Methodist Health System, which is comprised of seven hospitals and an array of other outpatient care sites throughout North Texas. The organization will work with Catalyst’s independent physician network to enhance delivery of higher quality care while improving overall costs.

Aetna Joins Catalyst Health Network

Catalyst becomes first North Texas physician network to hold value-based contracts with top four major carriers

DALLAS, TX – Catalyst Health Network and Aetna have entered into a contract to improve care provided to patients across North Texas. With the addition of Aetna, Catalyst becomes the first physician network to hold value-based contracts with the top four carriers in North Texas.

Aetna and Catalyst are working together to help shift the local health care system to one that rewards value over volume of services performed. Catalyst comprises more than 175 providers who are responsible for ensuring patients receive the right care, in the right place, and at the right time. Physicians and their extended care teams receive real-time patient information, enabling them to coordinate care more effectively.

DALLAS – Catalyst Health Network, a fast-growing alliance of independent physicians in North Texas, is pleased to announce the addition of HCA to its affiliate network. HCA is the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, a company comprised of locally managed facilities that includes approximately 165 hospitals and 115 freestanding surgery centers in 20 states and employing approximately 204,000 people. In North Texas, HCA has 12 hospitals, 11 freestanding surgery centers, 5 freestanding ER’s, and 31 urgent care centers that will work with Catalyst’s independent physician network to improve quality of care while reducing overall costs.
